Most commonly, a dog will experience issues with their ears due to allergies and this can make their ears painful and sensitive. If your dog is suffering from inflammation of the external ear, also known as otitis externa, we are here to help.
How can we help?
Firstly, it’s important to get a true understanding of what’s happening so we’ll take samples to look under the microscope so we can correctly diagnose what isa causing the infection . From there, we can explore the options such as using the Storz Video Otoscope to clean the ear whilst under anaesthetic.
This allows us to see deeper into the ear canal whilst cleaning and clearing the problem gently and affectively. If we’re unable to resolve the issue by medical means or video Otoscopy, then we can consider Total Ear Canal Ablation (TECA).
So, if you suspect that your dog has something wrong with their ears, please don’t delay in contacting our team on 0116 326 0402. Whatever the issue may be, we are here to offer our help and support so we can get to the root of the problem.
