Its been a long time coming and there have been a large number of ups and downs, with optimism then despair, but after nearly a year since seeing this property on Ratby Road, Groby for the first time, a failed Change of Use Planning Application then a failed appeal only 4 weeks ago, I can thank H M Government for the the Town and Country Planning (Permitted Development, Advertisement and Compensation Amendments (England) Regulations 2019 that came into force on May 25th 2019. These amendments now allow for temporary change of use from shop (A1) to Vet Clinic (D1) for 3 years. I will therefore be going back to working for myself and be able to at last spend 100% of my clinical time caring for pets with skin and ear disease. I shall hopefully be opening up at the new premises  at the beginning of September, but until the end of July I will still be working from the Leicester Forest East branch of Bell Brown and Bentley.
